Chamber Choir
A select, auditioned group of singers, the Chamber Choir performs challenging works from classical to jazz. The Chamber Choir performs for the annual Christmas Festival of Lessons, Carols and for the Spring Concert. Additional activities may include concert tours, recording sessions and performing at school functions.
(Moderator: Mr. Haddon)

Concert Choir
The concert choir is open to all students. This choir rehearses weekly after the musical. The choir performs a variety or repertoire and presents a spring concert and other concerts by invitation. Additional activities may include recording sessions, joint concerts and tours. (Moderator: Mr. Haddon)

Drama Club
The purpose of the Drama Club is to have fun while learning and helping others learn about all the aspects of drama through the practical experience of producing a small production. This includes learning about teamwork, communication, commitment and responsibility, and includes specific areas of acting, directing, producing, managing and technical work.
(Moderator: Mrs. Belanger)

Musical
Each fall, Sacred Heart Academy stages a major musical production. SHA students work together with members of the faculty to handle every facet of the production—from designing and building sets, to blocking scenes, to choreographing dance sequences, to securing props, and ultimately delivering Broadway-worthy performances. From November 9 through November 11, 2007, SHA will proudly present
Beauty and the Beast.
(Moderators: Mrs. Belanger and Mr. Haddon)

Orchestra
Comprised of a select, auditioned group of instrumentalists, Orchestra is a course that meets Mondays from 2:15pm-3:30pm.  Instrumentalists must take this course for both semesters to obtain credit. Students of various levels of proficiency (beginner to advanced) must already own (or rent) and know the rudiments of their instruments. Additional instruction is given to build an ensemble capable of playing musical literature of various styles and periods. Performances are scheduled throughout the year, including a Christmas and spring recital.  (Moderator: Mr. Haddon)

Media Production
Our fully-equipped media production center is used for production of a daily morning show, Good Morning SHAmerica.  The Media Production course enables students to learn the complexities of television studio production. Students are instructed in the use of the video camera and audio equipment, in editing oral presentations, lighting, scripting and directing techniques. (Instructor: Mr. Haddon)
