Campus Ministry
The purpose of campus ministry is to plan and lead
the school community in various prayer experiences, assist
in the planning and organizing of retreats, prepare school
liturgies and organize and participate in service programs.

French Honor Society
The
Société Honoraire de Français, an honor society sponsored by
the American Association of Teachers of French, recognizes
high achievement in French at the secondary level.
Latin Honor Society
The
Latin Honor Society recognizes high achievement in Latin at
the secondary level.
Math League
The purpose of the Math League is to stretch the
students mathematically by participating in the New England
Math League and MAT –12- Tests and to build confidence and
self-esteem in students who are mathematically and
scientifically oriented. (Moderator: Mrs. Brownell)
National Honor Society (NHS)
NHS is a
select group of students that strives to foster the
intellectual development of the school community and to
provide service to the school community.

Trevetton and Mrs. Tyler)
Peer Connection
Peer Connection is a community of students whose
mission is to offer a caring, Christian connection to their
peers through confidential listening, mediation techniques,
intervention strategies, and group support. (Moderator: Mrs.
Reed)
Spanish Honor Society
The
purpose of the Spanish Honor Society is to recognize high
achievement in Spanish and to promote the continuity of
interest in the study of Spanish language, literature, and
civilization. The American Association of Teachers of
Spanish and Portuguese founded the Sociedad Honoraria
Hispanica in 1953.
Student Council
The Student Council exists to promote and encourage
student leadership, to render service, to serve as a student
governing body and to achieve a better understanding of the
aims and philosophy of SHA. Student Council attempts to
support and encourage unity within the school. (Moderators:
Mrs. Curbow, Miss D'Ambrosio, and Mrs. Vitale)
Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)
SADD is
a student organization dedicated to enlightening all
students of the dangers of making destructive decisions such
as drinking, abusing drugs, smoking, abusing their bodies
and suicide.
