ATTENTION CLASS OF 2008

Do you plan to participate in intercollegiate athletics at an NCAA Division I or II institution? If so, you must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse at the conclusion of your Junior Year in High School.

To register, please access the registration materials by visiting the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse Web Site at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net. and click onto “Prospective Student-Athletes”.

After your registration is complete, there will be a section for you to print (two pages) which gives permission for SHA Guidance to forward a copy of your high school transcript to the Clearinghouse. Please return these forms to the Guidance Office along with a completed Transcript Request Form and the $2.00 fee. Guidance will then forward your transcript to the Clearinghouse once junior grades have been posted.

Your final transcript will be sent to the Clearinghouse after your graduation.

The NCAA strongly suggests that prospective student-athletes use this ONLINE REGISTRATION, rather than completing the paper form. However, if you wish to pay by check or money order, or if you do not have access to the Internet, you may complete the paper form. The Guidance Office has a limited number of paper copies.
