The Fine Arts Department offers
Music, Drama and a sequential course of study in the Visual
Arts. Students are required to think, participate and learn
in an active, artistic, and intellectual manner. They learn
to appreciate and evaluate their work. A minimum of 1 credit
is required for graduation.
Introduction to Fine Arts

This course is a survey of the main concepts necessary for
the study of fine arts: art, music, and drama. It covers
foundational topics in music and art history, the vocabulary
of music and art criticism, and the elements of theater. A
practical component exposes the student to the rudiments of
music performance and studio art; the drama component
includes exercises in presentation skills, diction, and
poise in public speaking.
Media Production
365avprod QP 4.33 GR 10-12 SEM 1,2 .5 CREDIT This course
begins with the fundamental principles of communications and
quickly moves to their application in audio/visual
communications. It incorporates the technical aspects of
audio, still image and full-motion video production.
Projects include educational, news and dramatic productions.
Maximum enrollment: 15 per section
