We, the administration and faculty of Sacred Heart Academy,
feel privileged to share in your education and development.
It is our hope that the years that you spend with us will be
both happy and productive and that the environment will
allow you to feel both safe and secure. First and foremost,
Sacred Heart Academy is a community where people care about
one another reflecting the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
in actions and words.
"Excelsior" expresses the ideals and program of life for
faculty and students, urging that all effort must be
expended to achieve an ever better and higher way of life
until we are lifted up to Christ. This ideal permeates all
areas of personal integrity and respect for others. An
important part of your education is learning how to develop
caring, accountable relationships with others while also
developing your own personal skills of scholarship and
responsibility. Our curriculum is designed so that you may
develop your God-given gifts and talents to their greatest
potential. We challenge you to develop critical thinking
skills and global perspectives on cultural, social and
political issues. Above all we encourage you to appreciate
the importance of the beauty and sanctity of life. In our
caring atmosphere, we emphasize character formation that
allows everyone to appreciate the uniqueness of each
individual.
