Completed Scholarship Applications are due in the Guidance Office by the SHA DEADLINE DATES SHOWN. Students are encouraged to use the Guidance Department workroom to research for additional scholarship opportunities and to obtain information on Merit Scholarships from individual colleges and universities.

IRISH AMERICAN COMMUNITY C ENTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP – Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Scholarship requirements: you must be a Connecticut resident; you must be pursuing a post-secondary degree; you must be community and civic minded. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. WEST HAVEN PUBLIC LIBRARY CONCETTA SACCO SCHOLARSHIP

This $250 scholarship will be awarded to a West Haven resident (at least two years of residency), who is pursuing a degree in Library Science or Humanities. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. SHA DEADLINE: 5/16/08.

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND OF CONNECTICUT – These scholarships are limited to legally blind, full-time post-secondary students. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. SHA DEADLINE: 5/16/08.

MILTON FISHER SCHOLARSHIP FOR INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY – Students who have solved artistic, scientific, or technical problems in new or unusual ways are invited to apply for this scholarship.

ROCK HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTO SCHOLARSHIP, WALLINGFORD, CT. – A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior, who is a Wallingford resident, and a former student of Rock Hill Elementary School (minimum attendance of three years).
