Completed Scholarship Applications are due in the Guidance Office by the SHA DEADLINE DATES SHOWN.

Students are encouraged to use the Guidance Department workroom to research for additional scholarship opportunities and to obtain information on Merit Scholarships from individual colleges and universities.

THE SOCIETY OF MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT SCHOLARSHIP – Academic achievement, extra-curricular involvement, community service and financial need, will be considered in the review of each application. Applicants must be residents of the state of Connecticut and a graduating senior of a Connecticut secondary school, 2008. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. SHA DEADLINE: 02/01/08.

COCA-COLA SCHOLARS FOUNDATION – This nationwide scholarship program awards 250 scholarships per academic year – 50 scholarships in the amount of $20,000 and 200 scholarships in the amount of $10,000. For additional information and the application, please go to: www.coca-colascholars.org

BURGER KING SCHOLARS PROGRAM – Burger King Scholars receive $1,000 to be used for educational expenses (tuition, fees, and books) during the first year of college. To qualify you must be a high school senior and a U. S. resident who meets the criteria of the program.
