SAT AND SAT SUBJECT TESTS

The Guidance Department highly recommends that each senior take the SAT in October, and the SAT Subject Test(s) in November, and a retake, if necessary, in December.

The College Board recommends registering on-line at their website, www.collegeboard.com. (Credit Card is required).  On-line registration enables you to receive immediate confirmation

 of your test center assignment, and you can print and make corrections to your Admission Ticket.

REMINDERS:

 

  1. Very Early Deadline ….The registration deadline to take the October 6, 2007 SAT is September 10.  Remember to include our school code 070-263. 

  

2.     The registration deadline for the November 3, SAT is October 2..

 

  1. VERY IMPORTANT:  When registering, include at least four colleges to which you want reports sent. These four are free.  Additional Score Reports are EXPENSIVE.

 

  1. On the day of the test, be sure to have your admission ticket, pencils, erasers, approved calculator and proper identification.  Arrive well in advance of the required time.

 

  1. If you use the paper form of registration, and your admission ticket does not arrive at least one week before the test, or if you lose your ticket, call the College Board (609 771-7600), or visit their web site.

 

  1. PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Visit the SAT Prep Center at www.collegeboard.com.  Also, there are SAT Guides and Workbooks available in the Guidance Office. In addition to Ms. Stackpole’s SAT Math Prep Class, the College Board has an on-line class.

 

  1. Please come to the Guidance Office if you have any questions.
